What We Do
The Good Shepherd Cat Sanctuary, welcomes many cats through our door each year. Our motto truly is “Hope for all who enter.” Our goals include to continue to act as a viable alternative for feral cats in need. The Good Shepherd Cat Sanctuary mission is to provide rescue, shelter, rehabilitation, and medical care for all cats that enter our facility. Our vision is that all cats have a safe environment and ongoing medical care for the extent of their natural lives.
Our objectives are to:
· Provide a safe environment for feral cats and unadoptable cats that can live outdoors
· Provide rescue, immunizations, and medical care for all cats that enter our shelter
· Provide sanctuary to cats who are not adoptable for various reasons and are comfortable living outdoors
Description of current programs, activities, and accomplishments
The Good Shepherd cat Sanctuary acts as refuge for cats in need. The populations that we serve are:
The Good Shepherd Cat Sanctuary works with a number of veterinary practices to provide medical care, surgeries, etc.
We were featured in a front page newspaper article detailing the current feral cat overpopulation problem state and nationwide.
